Privacy Policy

Soul Care Academy (“we”, “us”) operates an online platform of biblical counseling resources. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and/or mobile phone number, which you provide to sign in. Optionally, your name.
• Subscription and purchase information — records of the products you buy or subscribe to, and payment references. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
• Content you submit — responses, journal entries, and assessment answers you enter while using a product.
• Technical information — standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) used to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To deliver the products and features you sign up for.
• To send account and service notifications (see SMS, below).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To operate, troubleshoot, and improve the platform.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

SMS / text messaging

When you provide your mobile phone number on our sign-in screen, you consent to receive text messages from Soul Care Academy. These are:

• One-time passcodes for signing in to your account, and
• account and service notifications related to products you use (for example, assignment or session reminders).

Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not close your account; you can still sign in by email.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf (see Service providers).

Service providers

We use the following processors to run the platform. Each receives only the information needed for its function:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Telnyx — SMS delivery.
• Resend — email delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us; some records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Your choices

• Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.

Children

The platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you directly.
