Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Service provider

Soul Care Academy is operated by 2remain1 Ministries, an Arizona nonprofit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and classified as a public charity under Section 509(a)(2) (“Soul Care Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Soul Care Academy website, platform, and programs.

Your account

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or mobile phone. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address or phone number secure.
• One account is for one person. Don’t share your account or use someone else’s.
• You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.
• Disrupt, probe, or overload the service.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or unlawfully disclose information about others.
• Republish, resell, or distribute materials outside the use permitted below without written permission.
• Use the service for anything unlawful.

Participant conduct and group privacy

You agree to participate respectfully and not to use the platform to threaten, harass, impersonate, or unlawfully disclose information about others. We ask participants to respect the privacy of other group members and not repeat their personal stories outside the group.

Because group members are independent participants, we cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality. We may take reasonable action in response to misuse of the platform or conduct that threatens another person’s safety or participation.

Text messages

We use text messages for two separate purposes: one-time sign-in codes that you request, and group reminders for participants who separately opt in to receive them. Providing your mobile number does not by itself enroll you in group reminders. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. See our Text messages page for the exact wording for each program and how to stop each one, and our Privacy Policy for details.

Payments and refunds

• The Marriage Academy enrollment fee is a one-time payment of $20 unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise, shown at checkout and paid by the person who starts the group. It is not a recurring subscription. Everyone else in the group joins free; the fee covers that Academy’s four months of content.
• Refunds. If you request a refund at least 24 hours before your group's scheduled first meeting, we will refund your fee in full. To request a refund, email support@soulcareacademy.com. If we cancel your group or cannot provide the program you purchased, we will provide a full refund of the enrollment fee. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
• Any product sold as a subscription renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by Stripe under their terms.

Content and conduct

Responses, journals, and assessment answers you submit remain yours. You grant us permission to store and process them to operate the features you use. Some products involve sharing limited information with a person you invite (such as an advocate or a spouse); those sharing rules are described within each product. See our Privacy Policy for exactly who can access this content and under what circumstances, including the group’s own features, authorized personnel, and our service providers.

Materials are licensed for the participant’s personal use within the intended group; they may not be republished, resold, or distributed outside the permitted use without written permission.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or discontinue features.

Educational and group-participation disclaimer

Marriage Academy provides Christian discipleship and educational resources. It is not counseling, psychotherapy, medical care, legal advice, or crisis intervention. Group leaders facilitate discussion using the materials provided; they do not undertake to diagnose, treat, or resolve participants’ personal or marital difficulties.

Participation does not guarantee any particular outcome. You remain responsible for your own decisions and for seeking appropriate professional, pastoral, or emergency assistance when needed.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Soul Care Academy and the legal entity operating it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of the service provider for claims arising from a paid Marriage Academy enrollment will not exceed the amount you paid for that enrollment.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date when changes are made and provide additional notice when appropriate, particularly for material changes affecting existing users. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Changes will not eliminate rights that applicable law requires us to preserve.
